What is the send rate?
The send rate represents the rate of exchange you will receive when you send money with us.
How can I check the send rate?
To see the send rate:
- Click the Send money button
- Choose the Destination Country (where you're sending money to)
- In the You send field, enter the amount of money you want to send. This is your home currency. The Recipient gets field will populate with the amount of money your recipient will receive.
- If you want your recipient to receive a certain amount, complete the 'Recipient gets' field first. The 'You send' field will populate with the amount of money this will cost you.
- The rate for your transfer will show underneath the You send field
The send rate will show one final time on the Confirm transfer screen. If the rate has changed since you started your transfer, we'll show a message to let you know.
Can the send rate change?
Yes, the rate may change between the time that you start your transfer and confirm it. We'll always let you know if it does. Learn more about why the send rate may change.
